Nancy Kerby graduated from The College of Charleston, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She received her certificate of completion of Paralegal studies from an American Bar Association program in 1999. In 2000 she obtained her Certified Paralegal status from NALA. In 2007 she earned her Advanced Certification in Discovery. She is active in various paralegal organizations, and is a member of NALA, the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division and is an active member of the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association.

Ms. Kerby has been a litigation paralegal since 1999 and has worked in both the state and federal court systems. She has specialized in subrogation since 2003. Ms. Kerby has been a member of the Doyen Sebesta team since 2007.
