Christiane (C.J.) ChambersSenior Associate
Ms. Chambers focuses her practice on property insurance, coverage disputes, and claims handling matters, primarily in the State of Texas. She works almost exclusively on first party insurance litigation matters, protecting insurance carriers from bad faith claims.
Prior to joining Doyen Sebesta, Ms. Chambers practiced in the Houston area and gained valuable experience through her involvement in hundreds of first party insurance cases across the state. She has developed expertise related to wind/hail claims and has successfully resolved many through mediations with better than anticipated results. She understands the intricacies of working with Plaintiffs, their counsel and various adjusters to achieve the desired results for her clients.Representative Cases
In Re Farmers Insurance Company Wind/Hail Storm Litigation, before the Multidistrict Litigation Panel of Texas, No. 14-0882. Assisted in successfully moving for consolidation of approximately 1,500+ hail and wind storm cases, pending in multiple counties across the state of Texas, into three MDL pretrial courts in Harris County, Webb County and Tarrant County.
